Certified UMF® Mānuka honey products must meet the strictest standards of both the NZ Government and the UMF® Honey Association.  They system appraises key markers found only in UMF® Mānuka honey.  These markers confirm the honey’s quality and purity.  The UMF® system guarantees that your product is pure New Zealand Mānuka honey and that the honey is produced and packed in New Zealand.

More About this Honey

This rare and exquisite honey is truly a gift from nature. It is amongst the highest grade mānuka honey available.

The honey has been wild harvested from pristine mānuka in the Far North and Bay of Islands regions.  This warmer northernmost region produces the earliest flowering and some of the purest and strongest Mānukas in New Zealand. The honey is extracted and slow-stored until it has reached its full potential (approx. 2 years) before processing and packaging.

Kāre is a Maori whanau owned boutique operation producing artisan honeys mainly by hand.  Your product has been carefully selected, hand labelled, individually checked, and hand packaged – providing you with a high quality, more personal product.
