HONEY COMB 125g
Artisan Honey – Made with love. Made with Care. Our honey comb is produced in small batches. Our honey comb has a mild flavour, a golden colour, and enticing aromatics. This beautiful comb honey is produced by our clever beekeeper friends in the remote hills of Molesworth Station.
Each honey comb is individually cut, painstakingly hand labelled and individually checked for quality.
New Zealand’s clean air and unpolluted environment has helped produce one of the finest honeys in the world.
Eaten on its own, or on a cheese board paired with aged, nutty cheeses such as cheddar, gruyere or edam, this is a beautiful honeycomb. We hope you enjoy it!
How do Bees Create such hex perfect shapes?
Honeycomb after honeycomb in perfect symmetry. How do bees do it? Well surprisingly…. they don’t. Busy bees actually build circular cells, but the warmth of the hive causes the wax they use to re-soften and mould itself into the perfect shape of the hexagon. This enables the largest possible volume while using the least material. Brilliant!
Served at the best restaurants

More About Kare Comb Honey
This beautiful honey comb is truly a gift from nature. Totally raw and natural.
The honey has been wild harvested from pristine hills of Molesworth Station. The prominent note / taste is from the borage flowers growing wild in the hills. This produces a mild light flavour.
